Instructions of COVID-19 Social Distancing level 2.5

Since new daily cases of the coronavirus in Seoul, Incheon and Gyeonggi Province have increased, Korea has implemented level 2.5 social distancing campaign from Aug, 30th to Sep, 13th.

For your health and safety, we strongly urge all students to refrain from visiting public facilities, participating in group activities and stay home after 9pm. In order to overcome current situation, we need students’ active cooperation. Thank you.

1) Citizens of Seoul, Incheon and Gyeonggi Province are required to stay home except for unavoidable reason and go home directly without making stops in other locations.

2) Avoid outdoor activities

- Operating hours are changed for restaurants, bakeries and bars, with only takeout and delivery services allowed after 9pm

- Dining in is banned at franchise coffee chains, with only takeaway and delivery services allowed

- Indoor sports facilities are shut down

- Indoor or outdoor gatherings of more than 10 people are banned

3) Block group infection of students in community

- Schools conduct online class

- Private cram schools are allowed to conduct online class only and libraries, study cafes are shut down

- Public institutions are required to work from home
