[COVID-19] Guidelines for use of campus and hygiene

 

Starting  November 24th, the government-determined “Instructions of COVID-19 Social Distancing level” have been upgraded to level2. Inha International Student Services Office informs international students of the guidelines for the use of Campus facilities. Please observe personal hygiene.

 


COVID-19 CAMPUS FACILITIES POLICIES

You MUST limit your interactions with others and always follow distancing requirement --  that is, you must remain 2 meters (6 feet) away from others (including in shared dorm rooms).

Wearing a face mask is required whenever you leave your room. Anyone entering the building with you must also wear a face mask or they will not be permitted to enter the building.

 

● JUNGSEOK LIBRARY

  • - There is a limit on the number of users and hours of use.

  • - Only the Information Center(2/3/4F), some reading and study rooms should be opened.

  • - Study room and Jungseok Lounge closed.


 ● DORMITORY

  • - There is a limit on the number of users and hours of use.

  • - Fitness center closed


 ● COLLEGE BUILDINGS

  • - Only one entrance is open for each building.


 ● COMMUNAL FACILITIES

  • - Communal Lounge ( Wol-cheon Lounge, Hana bank Lounge)

    : There is a limit on the number of users and hours of use.

    Make sure to fill in the visitor list when you visit.

  • - School Cafeteria

    : You have to keep a distance of 1 meter from table to table.

    The student cafeteria closed, so you can use faculty cafeteria.

  • - Café (Grazie, The café, Blue pot) : Take out only.


  • ● STUDENT SPACE

  • - Club activities rooms and Student council rooms CLOSED


 ● GYMNASIUM (Gymnastics room, Fitness Center인하마루, Table tennis Room)

  • - CLOSED

    :There is a limit on the number of users and hours of use.

    Only Inha Students and Staff can use

     

    ● OUTDOOR FACILITIES

     (In-kyung pond, Heidegger Woods, Main garden, Woonam Aircraft)

    : There is no occupancy limits.

  • ● OUTDOOR SPORTS FACILITIES (Field, Basketball/Tennis Court)

 


PERSONAL HYGIENE EXPECTATIONS


Your personal hygiene is crucial in curbing the spread of the corona virus. Take these steps to protect yourself and others:

  • - Clean up after yourself in your shared bathroom if you are living with a roommate.

  • - Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 30 seconds.

  • - Avoid touching your face with unwashed hands.

  • - Clean And disinfect frequently touched surfaces daily such as tables, doorknobs, light switches, countertops, handles, desks, phones, keyboards, toilets.

  • - Cover your mouth and nose when you cough or sneeze, and wear a mask when you leave your personal space.

  • - Avoid close contact with people who are sick or may have the virus.

  • - Stay in your room if you are sick and avoid contact with others and seek help immediately.

  • - Do not share personal items with others.

  • - Do not pile garbage in your room. Properly bag and dispose of all garbage at the basement garbage area daily. Keep your living environment clean and sanitized.

 



If you show any symptoms

If you have fever(above 37.5°C) or respiratory problems (cough, difficulty breathing, throat pain, etc.), call 1339 or Community Health Center (032-880-5403, Michuhol-Gu Health center) to follow the instructions to visit the designated medical institution. Call and report to Inha International Student Services Team(032-860-7038). You cannot leave your room until people arrive to take you to a designated hospital.

 

DISTANCING IN DAILY LIFE

“Distancing in daily life” refers to a new, sustainable way of life and social interactions that prepares society against the possibility of long-run prevalence of COVID-19. It is designed to achieve thorough infection prevention and containment while sustaining people’s everyday life, economic and social activities. Please follow the hygiene policy for individual infection control.


Please refrain from visiting crowded places and attending large gatherings.

Your safety is our utmost priority.


  • - Wear a face mask at all times.

  • - Disinfect everyday spaces.

  • - Stay home and refrain from going outside.

  • - If you feel ill, Take sufficient rest at home and monitor your health for 3-4days.
