On behalf of CIS (president: Euikon Kim) and International Center at Inha University (director: Kiyoung Choi), the Korea-Uzbekistan Academic Conference, entitled “Feature and Future of Economic Exchange between Korea and Uzbekistan,” was held on December 17, 2013. 

Saidmukhtar Saidkasimov, the former deputy prime minister for foreign affairs, delivered keynote speech, entitled “Potential economic cooperation between Korea and Uzbekistan.” Then, Dae-wan Jeon, the former- ambassador to Uzbekistan, presented his research, entitled, “Regeneration of Silk Road.”

Seonghak Yun, a professor at Korea University and Dongki Seong, a research professor at CIS presented their interesting research about Uzbekistan economic and investment issues. 

Euikon Kim, a president of CIS, said that this conference provides useful information to businesses in In-Cheon when they make investments in Uzbekistan. 

CIS(소장: Euikon Kim)와 인하대 국제센터(센터장: Kiyoung Choi)의 주최로 2013년 12월 17일 '한국과 우즈베키스탄의 경제교류의 특성과 미래'라는 제목의 한-우즈베키스탄 학술대회가 열렸습니다. 

Saidmukhtar Saidkasimov 전 외무차관님은 이날 한국과 우즈베키스탄의 잠재적 경제 협력이라는 제목의 기조연설을 하셨습니다. 이어 Dae-wan Jeon 전 우즈베키스탄 대사님께서도 '실크로드의 재생'이라는 제목의 연구결과에 대해서 발표를 하셨습니다.
고려대학교의 Seonghak Yun 교수님과 CIS의 연구교수님이신 Dongki Seong 교수님께서는 우즈베키스탄의 경제 및 투자 문제에 대한 흥미로운 연구를 발표하셨습니다. 

CIS의 소장님이신 Euikon Kim 교수님께서는 이번 학술대회가 인천지역 기업들이 우즈베키스탄에 투자하기 위한 유용한 정보를 제공한다고 말씀하셨습니다다.
