2020년 8월 3일 인하대학교 국제관계연구소 주최로 차세대 한인 온라인 학술회의 미국패널 발표 (차세대 한인과 한인연구의 방향: 재미동포)가 있었습니다.

홍익대학교 장안리 교수님께서 "미국 차세대 한인의 호칭과 외연 확대의 필요성", 메사추세츠 대학교 이승은 교수님께서는 "차세대 단체를 중심으로 본 차세대 재미동포의 변화하는 정체성: '모델 마이너리티와 '대나무 천장' 사이에서" 라는 주제로 발표해 주셨습니다.

NetKAL 이제훈 대표께서 사회자로 인하대학교 이진영 교수님과  전후석 감독님께서 토론자로 참여해 주셨습니다. 

Inha Center for International Studies held the U.S. panel’s presentation in the Online Conference for the Next Generation of Koreans on August 3rd, 2020.

Dr. Jang, Ahnee at Hongik University presented the manuscript, “Appellation for the Next Generation of Korean American and Necessity of Expanding Denotation”, and Dr. Lee, Seungeun at the University of Massachusetts presented the manuscript, “The Changing Identity of the Next Generation of Korean-Americans Based on Next-Generation Organizations: Between ‘Model Minority’ and ‘bamboo ceiling’”.  

Mr. Lee, Jehun at NetKal, the chair of the panel, presided over the presentations, and Dr. Lee, Jeanyoung at Inha University and Mr. Juhn, Joseph discussed the manuscripts.
