2019년 8월 23일 인하대학교 국제관계연구소와 재외동포재단은 [차세대 재외동포 정책 개발을 위한 실태조사]사업 계약을 체결 하였습니다. 
해외 170여개국에 거주하는 700만 한인 동포들은 대한민국의 중요한 인적 자원 입니다. 이들에 대한 정책 개발 위한 동포 대한 실태조사가 부족한 실정입니다. 인하대학교 국제관계연구소 재외동포재단의 지원을 받아 2019 8월부터 12까지 동포후예 단체들에 대한 실태 조사사업을 수행합니다. 

연구의 목적
➊ 차세대 재외동포 단체 현황 파악
❷ 중장기 차세대 재외동포정책 제시
❸ 재외동포재단의 효과적 차세대 단체 지원 및 활용방안 제시

On August 23, 2019, the Inha University International Relations Research Institute signed an agreement with the Overseas Koreans Foundation to investigate the current situation for the development of next-generation overseas Korean policies.

There is a lack of survey on Koreans for policy development. With the support of the Overseas Koreans Foundation, Inha University's International Relations Research Institute conducts a survey on the status of Korean descendants.Purpose of the research 
➊  Understand the status of the next generation Korean overseas groups
❷ Proposing mid- to long-term next-generation overseas Korean policy
 ❸ Providing effective next-generation group support and utilization plan of Overseas Korean Foundation
