On June 10th, The K-Academic Diffusion Research Center hosted the 6th Colloquium with Director Bong Soo  Park of the Diaspora Research  Institute.

Under the topic "Life of the Koryoin in Hambak Village", this colloquium, as part of the 'Identity Politics Series', took time to examine the current status of the Koryoin living in Hambak Village, Yeonsu-gu, Incheon. Director Park showed a detailed picture of problems such as employment, labour rights, and health insurance issues that the Koryoin face.

In addition, several practical ways were proposed so that the Koryoin community, as well as other foreign communities, could be well integrated into Korean society.
