On July 10, the CIS held the 2013 Postgraduate Student Conference. This event was designed to enhance 
academic exchange among postgraduate students and individual works were presented without the specific 
main theme. Postgraduate students, Hyosun Huh, Weiwei Wang and Jiyeon Lee gave presentations and their 
respective topics were "The Character of Chinese Nationalism Scrutinized through China's Northeast Asian 
Policy," "The Change of Sino-US Relations after the Cold War and the Korean Peninsula," and "The Limits and 
Potential of Regional Human Rights Regime in Southeast Asia." A director and research professors of the CIS 
participated as a moderator and discussants.
