지난 5월 26일 인하대학교 국제관계연구소는 몽골국립대 국제관계대학과 함께 몽골국립대학교에서 'East Asian Cooperation in a Divided World'이라는 주제로 국제학술대회를 공동 개최했다.

 

인하대학교 국제관계연구소와 몽골국립대 국제관계대학이 공동 주최하고 한국학중앙연구원 후원으로 개최된 이번 국제학술대회는 몽골국립대와의 교류 20주년을 기념하고 K학술확산연구소 사업의 영문교과서 출판과 연관시키기 위해 마련되었다.

 

학술대회는 몽골국립대 Badarch Dendev 총장, 인하대 국제관계연구소 이진영 소장, 인하대 정치외교학과 김의곤 교수의 개회사를 시작으로 총 4개 세션에 걸쳐 주제발표와 토론이 진행되었다.

 

첫 번째 세션 주제는 ‘Understanding Korea through Various Aspects on Korean Politics', 두 번째 세션 주제는 ‘Regional integration and security issues’, 세 번째 세션 주제는 ‘Soft power and humanitarian relations’, 그리고 마지막 네 번째 세션 주제는 ‘Mutual Understandings on Human Flows across National Borders’으로 구성하였고 각 세션별로 세 개의 주제발표와 토론이 진행되었다.

 

학술대회 발표에는 이진영 국제관계연구소 소장, 김의곤 인하대학교 교수, 이석우 인하대학교 교수, 이혜경 배재대 교수, 송석원 경희대 교수, 강국진 서울신문 기자, Battur Jamiyan 몽골국립대 교수, Enkhtsetseg Sosorbaram 교수, Bayasgalan Sanalkhundev 교수 등이 참여하였다.

On May 26, 2023, the Inha K-Academic Diffusion Research Center successfully held a joint conference with the School of International Relations and Public Administration (SIRPA) at the National University of Mongolia, particularly on the topic of 'East Asian Cooperation in a Divided World'.

 

This international conference, co-hosted by the Inha K-Academic Diffusion Research Center and the School of International Relations and Public Administration (SIRPA) at the National University of Mongolia, and sponsored by the Academy of Korean Studies, was organized to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the exchange with the National University of Mongolia and to relate to the English textbook publication of the K-Academic Diffusion Research Project.

 

The conference started with the opening remarks by Badarch Dendev, President of NUM, Jean-Young Lee, Director of the Center for International Studies at Inha University, and Professor Euikon Kim (Inha University). Following this, there were four sessions of presentations and discussions.

 

The topic of the first session was 'Understanding Korea through Various Aspects on Korean Politics', the topic of the second session was 'Regional integration and security issues', the topic of the third session was 'Soft power and humanitarian relations', and the topic of the final session was 'Mutual Understandings on Human Flows across National Borders'. Three thematic presentations and discussions were held in each session.

 

The presenters at the conference were Jean-Young Lee, Director of the Inha CIS, Professor Euikon Kim (Inha University), Professor Seokwoo Lee (Inha University), Professor Hye-Kyung Lee (Pai Chai University), Professor Seok Won Song (Kyunghee University), Kuk Jin Kang (Seoul Shinmun Daily), Professor Battur Jamiyan (NUM), Professor Enkhtsetseg Sosorbaram (NUM), and Professor Bayasgalan Sanalkhundev (NUM).
