[2022-23 Inha CIS K-Academic, 2nd Colloquium] Research Trends of Korean Studies in the United States
The K-Academic Diffusion Research Center hosted the 2nd Colloquium of 2022-23 K-Academic Project on October 21, 2022, with the theme of "Research Trends of Korean Studies in the United States". Professor Emeritus Clark Sorensen addressed 1) overviews of the development of Korean studies in the United State, 2) key publications and research articles in the fields of social sciences, particularly in ethnography, geography, history, sociology, and politics, 3) characteristics of the 782 generation, coined by Professor Soressen, and 4) challenges and implications for Korean studies in the United States.
