On behalf of Center for International Studies, The Institute for Strategic and Inter-regional Studies under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan (ISIS) and the Silk Road Foundation, the 2nd Korea-Uzbekistan Forum was held at the Stanford Hotel, on December 5, 2013. 
     It was entitled “A substantial Cooperation Plan for Shared Growth between Korea and Uzbekistan,” with three sessions, Education, Economy & Trade, and International Relations. The forum aimed to fulfill the agendas for “Construction of New Strategic Cooperation” developed in the 1st forum, 2012, held to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the opening diplomatic relations between Korea and Uzbekistan. It was mainly discussed, in the forum, that how Korea can substantially cooperate with Uzbekistan, one of the crucial partners, in terms of the largest population in Central Asia, plentiful, various natural resources and the development of the Korean Wave. 국제관계연구소, 우즈베키스탄 대통령 산하 전략지역학연구소(ISIS)와 실크로드재단의 주최로 2013년 12월 5일 미국 스탠퍼드호텔에서 제2차 한국-우즈베키스탄 포럼이 개최되었습니다. 

'한국과 우즈베키스탄의 동반성장을 위한 실질적 협력방안'이라는 제목으로 교육, 경제무역, 국제관계 등 3개 세션이 진행되었습니다. 이번 포럼은 한국과 우즈베키스탄 수교 20주년을 기념해 열린 2012년 1차 포럼에서 발전한 '새로운 전략협력 건설' 의제 이행을 목표로 하였습니다. 이번 포럼에서는 한국이 중앙아시아에서 가장 많은 인구와 풍부한 천연자원, 그리고 한류의 발전 측면에서 중요한 파트너 중 하나인 우즈베키스탄과 어떻게 실질적으로 협력할 수 있는지에 대해 주로 논의하였습니다.
