Notice about how to apply for leave of absence for 2020-Fall

Please note that Inha graduate school allows international student's leave of absence for a 2020-Fall semester due to the unprecedented epidemic of infectious disease. please refer to below and make sure you follow the steps below if you want to apply for a 2020-Fall leave of absence

1. Deadline of Application(Submission of Documents) : September 9(Wed)

2. Where to Submit : Graduate School Office(Main Bldg. #317) * Submission of scan-file is possible if students stay overseas. ( email : jinny@inha.ac.kr )

3. Documents to Submit

  1) Students enrolled : Application Form(Submit after getting the seal of Advisor and Dean of Department), Alien Card(Front/Back page) copy

2) New Students : Application Form, Letter of Confirmation(by advisor), Application form(Insurance Refund), bankbook copy, (for those who are in Korea or were in Korea recently)  Pledge on Immigration Affairs, Flight Ticket(Korea->home country

3) Students who’re on leave during 2020-Spring : Application Form, Letter of Confirmation(by advisor), the latest Flight e-ticket(Korea->home country), Alien card(Front/Back page) copy

4) GKS Students : Application Form, 지도교수의견서(page 3 of “GKS 서식”) 휴학신청서(page 15 of “GKS 서식”), (those who are in Korea or were in Korea recently) Pledge on Immigration Affairs, Flight Ticket(Korea->home country), Alien card(Front/Back page) copy

4. Others

1) Application form

- Please write down “August 31 to February 28, 2021” as a period of leave of absence on application form

2)  Letter of Confirmation, by an adviser

   - Deliver “Letter of Confirmation” (attachment) to your adviser, let him/her sign on it and send scan file directlry to jinny@inha.ac.kr

      - If you’re new students and don’t know the email address or office no. of adviser, please refer to attachment “Successful Applicants(2020-Fall) – Academic Advisors and Designated Subjects” of below site link.

    3) D2 visa will be extinct in 2 weeks from the time student submit documents. Students who apply for a leave of absence must depart in 2 weeks since the day of submission of application form if they’re currently staying in Korea.
