가. 재입국허가 면제 중단 및 재입국허가 신청 안내

1. Suspension of Re-Entry Permit Exemption and Application for Re-Entry Permit

▪ 2020년 6월 1일부터 출국 후 한국에 재입국하려는 등록외국인은 「출입국관리법」제30조에 따라 재입국허가를

받아야 하며, 재입국허가를 받지 않고 출국하는 경우에는 외국인등록이 말소됩니다.

▪ Beginning June 1, 2020, registered aliens who are seeking re-entry into the ROK after departure are required to obtain a Re-Entry Permit in accordance with Article 30 of the Immigration Act, and leaving the Republic of Korea without a Re-Entry Permit will result in cancellation of Alien Registration.

▪ 재입국허가는 전국 출입국·외국인관서에서 신청이 가능합니다. (공항에서도 신청 가능)

▪ Re-Entry Permit can be applied for at immigration offices across the nation including at the airports.

▪ 신청필요서류 Required documents for Re-entry permit

1. 통합신청서 Application form (재입국허가 선택 Select “REENTRY PERMIT”)

2. 여권 Passport

3. 외국인등록증 원본, 사본 Original and copy of Alien registration card

4. 사유서 Statement of reasons for departure (자유 양식 Free –from)

5. 수수료 Fee  KRW  30,000

나. 재입국 장기체류자 진단서 제출 안내

2. Submission of Diagnosis for Re-Entry of Long-term Stayers

▪ 2020년 6월 1일부터 출국 후 한국에 재입국하려는 등록외국인은  출발일로부터 48시간 이내에 코로나19 관련

검사를 받고 해당 진단 내역이 기재된 진단서를 소지하여 재입국하여야 합니다.

▪ Beginning June 1, 2020, registered aliens eeking re-entry into the ROK after departure are required to undergo a medical examination related to COVID-19 within 48 hours prior to the date of departure for the ROK and carry and present a medical certificate (diagnosis) detailing the results to re-enter the ROK.

▪ 진단을 받지 않았거나 유효한 진단서를 소지하지 않은 경우, 위·변조 서류 또는 허위 서류를 제시하는

경우에는 탑승 및 입국이 거부되는 등 불이익을 받게 됩니다.

▪ Failure to undergo the examination or present a written diagnosis, and forging/falsifying documents or presenting false

documents will result in denial of boarding and entry, and other disadvantages.

▪ 다만, 재외공관장이 발급한 유효한 ‘격리면제서’를 소지한 사람은 진단서를 제시하지 않아도 예외적으로

재입국이 가능합니다.

▪  Yet, those with a valid ‘Isolation Exemption Certificate’ issued by a Korean embassy or consular office are exempted from the obligation to submit a written diagnosis and are allowed to re-enter the ROK as an exception.
