□ Where it applies : restaurants, cafes, etc(Indoor public facilities), event places(accommodating 100 to 499 participants)

 ※ Exceptions : malls, department stores, wedding halls, funerals, etc

□ Violation Penalties

 ○ For users : when entering without presenting the vaccine pass → 100,000 KRW penalty charge

 ※ Even when a fully vaccinated person enters without showing his or her vaccine pass, it will be considered as a violation. Failure to present the pass mistakenly upon entry (with the vaccine pass on hand) will not be processed as a violation.

 ○ For businesses : When admitting people without checking the vaccine pass → 1,500,000 KRW penalty charge for the first violation, and 3,000,000 KRW penalty charge for repeat violations.

 ※ For cafes and restaurants (only), up to one unvaccinated person (without carrying a negative PCR test result) can be allowed to enter.

□ Types of Vaccine Pass

 ○ Vaccination certificate (including a sticker certificate) - effective from 14 days after the second jab through the following six months

 ○ Negative PCR test result - effective until midnight(24:00) of the day on which the 48-hour time span finishes after the notification of the test result.

 ○ Quarantine clearance letter for those who have fully recovered from COVID-19 – effective for six months from the date of release from quarantine.

 ○ Proof of medical exemption – No time period limit on its effect
